Clubhose Compromise

  • Checkpoint Annual Security Report is out, showing an escalation in attack against the healthcare sector and especially hospitals. The report also highlighted a growth in banking and information stealing mobile trojans. Another concerning trend is appearance of double extortion technique by ransomware. Learn More

  • T-Mobile is the victim of, yet another, data breach. The last incident dates back to late December. The new incident is more serious affecting users name, account number, social security number, customer account PIN, account security questions and date of birth. Learn More

  • Npower, UK energy giant, has permanently closed its mobile application following a data breach. Npower mobile application will not be bringing application back online following its acquisition by Eon and users will have to use the web portal to access the service. Learn More

  • An outage affecting Kia's mobile and web services caused by a potential ransomware. The outage is Learn Moreed to the DopplePaymer ransomware gang asking for 20M extortion. Learn More

  • Audi-based mobile social app Clubhouse has suffered a data breach. Clubhouse launched in March 2020 and quickly gained popularity raising 100M in funding in January. Private information has shown that the breached data is up for sale online by a certain user under 'creepxploit' name.   • National Privacy Commission is investigating a data breach involving 3.3 million users of the mobile lending platform Cashalo. Learn More

  • 50% of Mobile Apps are vulnerable according to WhiteHat Security new research. Learn More
